Kilmaurs

	Kilmaurs sits in South West Scotland, in the county of Ayrshire about 2 miles from Kilmarnock, and roughly equidistant from Glasgow and Ayr.
A herd of Pedigree 'Ayrshires' graze in the fields of Kilmaurs. 'Ayrshires' are a well known pedigree breed of cattle with an excellent quality of milk.
	A fine example of Scottish architecture, 'The Place' as it is named, overlooks Kilmaurs from beside the village green.
We will add more information about Kilmaurs and Ayrshire in the coming weeks, and update the images with the changes in Season. What you see here is some wonderful May sunshine, which lasted for an unexpected 3 week period.
